I’m pleased to announce that I’m on the final leg of writing and will soon begin pre-production on the fourth full length I, Parasite album, Österlanden. It’s too early to say much more about it just yet, but I am planning a Kickstarter campaign to help offset recording and pressing costs. Please drop me a message or comment about any rewards you’d be interesting in seeing for that.
In 2010 I posted the following about the sound of the album as it started to take shape in my head:

Very excited by “acoustic” and “electronic”, but not so much “electric” right at this moment. Sound waves crashing around in a space. Ringing resonance and natural reverb. Detuned frequencies fighting for dominance. A sonic Ouroboros on the edge of out of control.

This quote has guided me during the last year or so of writing, and is still pretty accurate to what I’d like to accomplish sonically.
Over the last year I’ve posted about the writing process on the site and will continue to do so as I move into recording. You can easily track all of the updates at this link: http://news.iparasite.net/tagged/IPIV/
As always, thank you for all of your support,
